Effect of competition level on functional movement screening scores in soccer players: a retrospective study

Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine and compare the scores functional movement screen (FMS) professional male soccer players in different leagues. Materials Methods: Previously collected data 64 athletes who were competing three leagues, using FMS test battery procedure analyzed. Asymmetry dysfunction rates, total scores, subgroups each compared. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between leagues (p˃0.05). In addition, motor control, mobility reflex core stabilization subgroup not When tests compared individually, only rotatory stability score found be significantly (p<0.05). Conclusions: rate asymmetry high along with according levels playing league, except for rotation test. Players top league have higher less dysfunction. Therefore, postural control affected by level soccer.
